In pursuance of directives issued by the Election Commission, the General Administration Department (GAD) sunted several administrative and police officials in the state, those transferred include an Inspector General of Police, three district Collectors and two Superintendents of Police.
The action follows complaints lodged with the commission by political parties.
Ujjain Range IG, MP Dwivedi is replaced by Pawan Jain, earlier the Managing Director (MD) of the Madhya Pradesh Police Housing Corporation.
Former Company Secretary of the MPSEB, MK Agrawal replaces Morena Collector Ramkinkar Gupta.
Jabalpur Municipal Corporation (JMC) Commissioner Sukhbir Singh takes over as Satna Collector, replacing VR Kuril, while Khargone Collector E Ramesh hands over charge to Deputy Secretary Finance Amit Rathore.
Seventh Battalion Commandant, Sanjeev Shami replaces RK Chaudhary as the Superintendent of Police, Indore.
Sagar SP Hari Singh is replaced by Commandant of the First Battalion, Yogesh Chaudhary.
The administration has not assigned new postings to the shunted officials as of now.
